To make the frame and the rapid decay of the vibration of the body, improve vehicle ride and driving comfort, vehicle suspension systems are generally equipped with shock absorbers, the current car is a widely used two-way acting tube damper.
Car shock absorber is used in the process of wearing parts, shock absorbers work is good or bad, will directly affect the smooth running car and other parts of life, so we should make the shock absorbers in good working condition always. The following methods can test whether the work of a good shock absorber.

4 Remove the shock absorber to be upright, and the bottom of the folder in the vise on the connecting ring, tension and compression damping force shot several times, then there should be a stable resistance, the resistance should be greater than the upward pull down the pressure when obstacles such as resistance to unstable or no resistance may be short of oil within the damper or valve parts damaged should be repaired or replaced.
In determining the shock absorber problems or failure, it should first check whether the oil shock absorber or traces of old oil.
Seal gasket, sealing gasket rupture damage, oil storage cylinder head nut loose. May be oil seals, gasket damage failure, should be replaced with new seals. If you still can not eliminate leakage, shock absorbers should be pulled out, if they feel there is not a time card or severity, further examination of the piston and cylinder gap is too large, whether the curved shock absorber piston rod, piston rod cylinder surface and whether there is scratch or pull marks.
If the shock absorber does not leak phenomenon, bushings, etc. should check whether there is damage, sealing, cracking or loss of office. If the examination was normal, should be further broken down shock absorbers, check the piston and cylinder with the gap is too large, cylinder without strain, the valve seal is good, the valve flap and valve seat is tight fitting, and done damper spring is too soft or broken, check the shock absorbers according to connection pin, connecting rod, connecting holes, rubber, grinding or the situation to take measures for repair parts.
In addition, the shock absorber will appear in the actual issue with the sound of failure, mainly due to shock absorbers and leaf springs, frame or shaft collide, damage or loss, and shock absorber pad dust tube deformation, fluid lack of other causes, reasons should be identified, to be repaired.
After the inspection, repair the shock absorber should be in a special test bench performance tests, when the resistance frequency of 100 ± 1mm, its journey done, and the resistance to compression stroke should be consistent with the provisions of that shock normal.
